Grant Opportunities

Small Grants

Small grants are defined as an award that is ≤ $5,000.  WDA Grants Committee currently offers two (2) opportunities for these grants.  The criteria for each are different and can be found under the respective submission guidelines.  The call for proposals goes out in January and are awarded in May.



WDA Small Grants

Purpose:

Grants are awarded for a project that has defined and measurable goals that support the WDA mission; “to acquire, disseminate and apply knowledge of the health and diseases of wild animals in relation to their biology, conservation, and interactions with humans and domestic animals."

Proposals are due by March 15, 2021. Successful proposals will be awarded May 2021.

Wildlife Veterinary Section Small Grant

Purpose:

Grant is awarded to a project that supports activities that promote the health and welfare of free-ranging wildlife through research, application and dissemination of knowledge or capacity building.

Proposals are due March 29th, 2021. Successful proposals will be awarded April 30, 2021
