The purpose of this grant is to help smaller student chapters and stimulate smaller educational events.
Applications will be accepted from:
➔ November 1 - November 30: Notification of results on December15
➔ from March 1 - March 31: Notification of results on April 15 of each year with a maximum of 2 winners for each cycle.
Budget for 2023: $500/award
The money must be spent within one year from the time it is received. If you are unable to spend this award within this time frame, you will have to return it to the WDA. Funds will be released to the SC once the event is scheduled, and budget provided.
Student chapters that receive funding will be required to submit a summary of the event for publication in the WDA Newsletter and /or their Chapter Annual report.
Seed Grants will be evaluated by a subcommittee on established general criteria
The SAC highly recommends that you work closely with your faculty advisor when organizing the event and completing the application.
The completed application should be emailed to Student Activities Committee Chair, Juliette Nye (firstname.lastname@example.org) before November 30 and March 31 of each year.
