The Constitution of the Wildlife Disease Association was initially drafted and approved by the membership in 1959. It is a living document and subject to review and revision. Amendments to the Constitution were last implemented in 2018.

The Bylaws to the Constitution provide direction for the work of our officers, the WDA Council and our administrative and journal leadership. The Bylaws also establish the parameters for the core work of the WDA, including our membership structure, financial management, WDA publications and meetings, committees, Sections and Student Chapters. Like the Constitution, changes to the Bylaws were last implemented in 2021.
