Mission Statement of UGA Student Chapter of the WDA

"The mission of this chapter is: 1) to provide students with opportunities for involvement in wildlife disease research and conservation medicine; 2) to facilitate an understanding of the complex relationship among ecosystem health, animal health and human health and how this applies to UGA students, both undergraduate and graduate, whose interests include biology, veterinary medicine, wildlife and natural resource management, zoological medicine, wildlife research, public health, and agriculture; and 3) to take advantage of the WDA’s extensive student networks, conference and workshop opportunities, faculty mentorship, and externship database."
