Mission: The Michigan State University Student Chapter of the Wildlife Disease Association brings together undergraduate, graduate, and health professional students to discuss issues regarding wildlife health. Our mission is to enhance the knowledge of wildlife health by sharing information regarding current global wildlife diseases and collaborating on wildlife disease research projects.

Objectives:

·       Host monthly or bi-weekly disease ecology luncheons with invited speakers to discuss current research and issues in wildlife disease

·       Organize a guest seminar once per semester with an invited speaker outside of MSU

·       Coordinate field trips and field research experiences with local research projects

·       Attend the WDA Annual Conference

·       Connect and collaborate with related departments at MSU

Number of members: 3 for now, expected to grow throughout the semester following events and member drives
