Online Submission and Review for the JWD
The Journal of Wildlife Disease became fully on-line 6 June 2006.
AllenTrack, the online manuscript tracking system provided by Allen Press, is now being used to manage all aspects
of the submission and review process for the JWD, and will be required (except in special circumstances) for consideration of
publication. To submit an article online, please go to the journal’s AllenTrack website at
http://jwd.allentrack.net
Instructions for Authors can be found under the Details on Publishing in the JWD on this page (scroll down).
If you do not have access to the necessary resources for online submission, please send one copy of your manuscript including tables and figures; a cover letter giving the corresponding author's address, telephone and FAX numbers, and Email address; a diskette or CD containing the text of your article in Word format and your tables and figures as separate files; and submission form (PDF) to the Editorial Office of Journal of Wildlife Diseases at the following address:

On-Line Access to the JWD
The Journal of Wildlife Diseases can now be accessed electronically!
JWD Online contains the full content of each issue of the journal excluding book reviews, reports on meetings, and indices of content. In addition, the full text is searchable by keyword, and the cited references include hyperlinks to Medline and to the full text of many other online journals.
The electronic versions of the most recent 18 months of full text articles are available free of charge to student members, regular members, and subscribers. Table of contents and abstracts are free to all. The electronic versions of the Journal from 1965 through to the most recent 18 months are available free-of-charge to members and non-members alike.
Online full-text content currently begins with the 1965 volume and will expand with each month's new issues. Each new issue will be placed online approximately on the date it is mailed to subscribers, so the online site may be days or even weeks ahead of your receipt of a paper copy.
The Wildlife Disease Association in partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Society, Global Health Programs (WCS-GHP) have sponsored free electronic access to all issues of the Journal including issues from the most recent 18 months for people from 135 countries. The Wildlife Disease Association very much appreciates the support of the WCS-GHP in this program.
This site is being produced in conjunction with Stanford University's HighWire Press, which also works with other medical/research journals, such as Science Magazine, the Journal of Biological Chemistry, and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
